Vision

Vision of the multiple district for the year 2009/2010 is to “Empower the Youth with Leadership”. This year multiple district will emphasis the need for the continues development of leo club members of conducting many leadership development programs. The long term benefits of continues leadership development within the leo movement would increase the membership retention and will help the leo clubs to strengthen their organizational capabilities.

In order to develop the leo movement multiple district president has introduced a 4 point program.

Publicity

  • Provide more publicity through media for leo activities.
  • Assist the leo clubs to get more media exposure
  • Encourage leos to use the online promotion tools such as social networking / blogging and micro blogging.
  • Develop international relations and club twinning

 

Administration

  • Assist the Leo clubs and districts to maintain proper administrative procedures
  • Provide necessary regulation regarding international awards
  • Help the leo clubs and districts receive the due awards

 

Development

  • Quality development of membership by providing membership challenges to leo clubs and districts.
  • Provide opportunities of personal development to all leos

 

Service

  • Provide service to need people by prioritizing the needs
  • Promote and encourage projects for IDPs in North
  • Promote the quality of service project by encouraging pre-planning and publicity

 

Strategies to achieve results

Reward outstanding performance

Leo Multiple district will recognize the outstanding performances by the leo club members and the clubs.

Retention and growth

Encourage leo club members to retain the membership while developing the membership.

Relationship Based development

Encourage leo club members to work with other youth and civic organizations. This would let them serve the community more effectively.

Repeated training programs

Conduct repeated training programs to develop the leadership skills of the membership.
